Hide and seek

Howard Jones – anybody?

Come on… you know Howard, don’t you?! If you are a child of the 60s and first got in contact with music (seriously) in the late 70s – early 80s, then you have to know him. He had a really huge success with his first album “Human’s lib” and the chart-hits “What is love?”, “Like to get to know you well” and “Hide and seek”. He even made it in the US with his second album “Dream into action” and the hit-single “No one is to blame” featuring Phil Collins. And also in 1985 he was part of the remarkable event “Live Aid“.

Because Howard is a genius with synthesizers, it’s really difficult to find a new interpretation of one of his songs, that is even more electronic. And so I went in another direction: I found some sample-instruments with a very human touch and rich expressions, and they all were originally asian.

But somehow surprisingly they fit perfectly for the song – at least in my opinion. Let me know, what you think…
